jimmyfiend
Hi guys, i was just wondering if there was a way i could use my wifi router without plugging in my modem to it? So it would essentially go; Modem - PC - Wired Network Card - Wireless Router - Laptop. Is that possible in any way? Thanks guys
stingwray
Just don't plug the modem into your router then and don't set up the internet connection on the router. You'll also need to bridge the two wired connections in your PC and make sure that it will act as the Internet Gateway. But why on earth would you want your PC to be infront of your wireless router? I can't think of a reason.
