Ok, so i have had some trouble downloading auditor, slow downloads, broken connections etc. Now i am having trouble booting from the bloody disk. Anyone else had this problem. Knoppix works just fine which i burned recently, but auditor won't boot at all. Running an Asus laptop, 1.8ghz 64 bit. 512 ram etc Any ideas guys? Do i have to do something special to it for it to run. Also yes i have changed my boot priorities, lol

The way that the winamp servers run is that you jump in line and wait for a slot to open up. They have limited bandwidth etc and can only cater for a certain number of people. If you really want to see that stream then click on the option and then wait. As Sparda suggested, its all a waiting game with this sort of thing. Otherwise your only other option is to download what you want to see. On the pluss side, if you click on the link and wait it should hopefully only take a good long dumps worth of time till you can see the stream. Hope that helps, i dont know of anyway that you wont have already tried to filter the results btw

Stingwray, my point wasn't aimed specifically at you. I think you are a decent guy and have helped me out with a few issues i have had recently. What i didn't like about this post was that it started out as, 'hey who likes diggnation and lives in england?' and turned into, 'yeah diggnation sucks' 'they are women' 'its lame'. Fredom of expression runs both ways, i was just sticking up for the diggnation side against all you nay sayers out there. And believe me, if you aren't going to shut up because i don't like what you are saying i sure aint gonna shut up because you told me to, lol. Peace all, lets keep this friendly, last thing we need is one of those crazy dangerous flame wars on our hands, i hear those things kill people.

I think you guys are being overly critical and quite pissy about this whole thing. Diggnation is a good show, worth a watch and very entertaining. Don't forget either that Kevin Rose began 'The Broken' the IPTV show which pretty much pushed computer based hacking shows into the mainstream and if i am not mistaken The Hak.5 crew were big fans of theirs and probably got inspired by it. Diggnation may not be your cup of tea but for christs sake don't be so damned lame and bitch about it. I don't even know why this thread was hijacked in the first place, it adds nothing to the community and only detracts from the efforts of a few dedicated people who only want to give back to the community that was so supportive of them in the first place. At the end of the day, you don't like diggnation? Go make something better than it then. Take that as a challenge and keep your damn whining to yourself. Oh and btw i am from the UK and i do watch diggnation.

So it automatically ramps up the speed of my clock depending upon the amount of strain on the processor? I understand now, thanks for the info stingwray.

Had a look for cool and quiet but can't find it. May well be running another application just like it though. Checked my diagnostic tool and it said the max clock on the processor was 1800mhz. Any idea how i can ramp it up? WHere abouts are the utilities used to lower its speed normally kept? Bios? Or Control panel? Thanks guys

Hey guys, anyone know much about amd chips? Got a turion 64 rated at 1.8 gigs and its showing on my system as 799mhz. This seem right to you? Seems darn low to me for a 1.8 chip

Hi guys, i was just wondering if there was a way i could use my wifi router without plugging in my modem to it? So it would essentially go; Modem - PC - Wired Network Card - Wireless Router - Laptop. Is that possible in any way? Thanks guys

The main problem i have is that it is a dsl router Belkin 54Mbps Wireless Cable/DSL Internet Gateway Router why won't it just do as i ask!!! Lol

The problem i have is that my router is on the outside of my pc if you follow me, the modem comes into the pc via usb then my router is connected to my ethernet port and is not recognised. Is there anyway round this at all?

Ok so i am totally lame here, not going to start using leet, but i having massive trouble with my wireless network. just bought a belkin wireless g router. However my broadband modem is usb and there is no connection port for that, just a standard network connection for it. As such i cannot set up a network properly i can use net stumbler to find the router but after that nothing. Any one got any tips or a link to somehwere i have tried google but nothing of any use. How safe is it to run VNC? Is there any security detailing in need to do? Restric its access etc Password protect? Any info would be great guys. Also the show is great, just pimped through half the back catalogue this morning, very very good show.
