Satal Keto
I saw this on Wired.com this morning while at work and I thought that it might be something that people here would be interested in. http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/08/twittering-toaster/ Personally I think its pretty cool and would be an interesting project for people who spend alot of time twittering :D
Brian Sierakowski
Sort of reminds me of this: http://www.instructables.com/id/Give-Your-...Twitter-Powers/
Burncycle
My old roomate and I had toyed with the concept of making our washer and dryer into tweeting device. There were 4 of us living together and the laundry machines were in the basement. So, for the sake of convenience (read laziness), you could check the twitter page for the devices to see if the were started or stopped recently to know whether it was ok to start your laundry and get the laundry you previously started. cykio
yeah its a cool idea to have the thing about ur house telling you things about themselves, Would be great to know if ur lightbulbs have broke, or if ur fridge told it it was out of certain foods (thought they had done this but never seen it anywhere)
