Ryan Posted June 20, 2009 Share Posted June 20, 2009 I installed the nvidia drivers on my opensuse 11.1 system tonite from the download.nvidia.com repository and after i restarted i was in the terminal after is elevated to root and typed init 5 i was still in runlevel 3. this has happened to me twice today. the first time i reinstalled but openSUSE probably takes a long as windows does to install so i don't want to go through that again only to come back to the same issue.
