Binky
Hey! Im wanting to set up all my servery duties through a really small linux box, Im really only wanting the bare bones here, nothing fancy! I Rember seeing them ages ago, but all I can seem to find now are these slightly more expensive ones like: http://www.emacinc.com/linux2_sbc.htm Although I don't really mind paying it out, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for cheaper alternatives. (physical, real world space is at a premium, so the smaller the better((no desktop builds!!)). Thanks!
Bit Hunter
You can build a Mini-ITX Pc, based on something like Intel D945GCLF2 mother board, it comes with a dual core Intel Atom processor with 64bit support. You can build a decent system under 400 USD. And just put Ubuntu Server or Cent OS on it. http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/moth...2D-overview.htm http://ark.intel.com/cpu.aspx?groupId=35641 http://www.mini-box.com/Intel-D945GCLF2-Mini-ITX-Motherboard
