etftw Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 After reading the UK meet up thread I decided I am going to take a trip to Londong this summer. Anyone get any places they would recommend visiting? Anything science related would be awesome Quote
stingwray Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Science Museum is really good, no matter what age you are and is even better if you can get their for the last Wednesday of the month, when its adults only, lots of things going on and large quantities of booze. Quote
metatron Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 If your from the UK, pop to Cyber Candy and get some mountain dew which they sadly stoped selling across the UK in normal shops in the late 90's. Quote

Anything science related would be awesome Bletchley Park: http://www.bletchleypark.org.uk/ I would also recommend that if you plan on any train trips, buy the tickets before you go. You will get a better rate. London Pass: http://www.londonpass.com/ If you plan to visit enough of the places on the pass to make it worth buying, add the travel card. It's an unlimited Underground card. The travel card is only available outside the UK. You can't buy it in London. Quote
