Keymap is xfree86. The logfile is log.txt. unable to find keymap-file: No such file or directory unable to find UPPER case keymap file, check it! "man lkl" or "lkl --help" Also, I think it looks for the keymap file in a specific location, and it may be different for uBuntu vs other distros.
