VM Ware disc files

I used VM ware converter to image my laptop before a re-install It worked great. But I choose the non 2gb option. Now I want to burn it on to a DVD but the file file is over 5Gb. can you change them back to 2GB, Or am I having to use winrar let's say tp make 2GB. file. I'm trying to get it to run off dvd if poss.
