pritchardo
Found this on one of my google adventures, not sure if it has been posted before but it look pretty useful. USB CD Partition Creation Utility Other than your switchblade and hacksaw stuff, can this be used to boot to USB Linux Distros? It would save me going into the BIOS everytime if i could just plug it in, and restart.
HarshReality
Dont know why but I was given to believe the customizer essentially already did that. The size it made the partition was determined by the total space on your key (eg. cant put a 600 meg ISO on a 250 meg key)
DoDg3
The customiser does allow for other iso and auto resizes the U3 partition. I've tried booting with a few different distro's but get a boot error after the initial loading screens. At the moment I have a 5 in 1 XP installer iso, it loads from in Windows but havent tried loading/ installing from boot. The software link I posted has an all in 1 USB compatibilty checker and CD partiton install. So you may get older non U3 devices working with switchblades.
