sixty4bitdiablo
Is there any way to set up a screen saver that can display an IRC chat? I know you can find ones that do RSS feeds but i cant find one for IRC or similar. SO, if such a thing exists, where is it or how do you do it? ZeroBeat
Well I don't think that such a thing exist since IRC is for chat, therefore the entire idea is to be active, but if you are on windows, and really desperate, i can quicly make one? and if so, just for the Hak5? since hak5 usees nickserv, it need to be made pretty specific for that
digip
irc as a protocol could probably be written into a screen saver app(if not any web monitoring app), but I don't know of one that currently does it as a screensaver. You might be better off writing one yourself, and giving it some settings like, what server and what channel to connect to and then just display it on the screen as the screen saver. Maybe look at some source code for open source irc clients and modify accordingly.
