metatron Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 I use a ZyXEL2000W VOIP Phone and when I’m at home it just works like any other VOIP phone and allow me to answer and make phone calls using my Asterisk server and when ever I’m out as long as I have a WIFI connection, the phone is set up to connect to my Asterisk server using any unencrypted access point so I can make and receive phone calls from my home phone line anywhere in the world. It saves me a lot each year as I only pay £29.99 for unlimited phone calls. The call quality is just as good as my Cisco CP-7970G, CP-7936 and CP-7960.
