  1. iOS 9 has now fully implemented MAC randomization for probe requests frames. The iDevices also no longer show SSIDs in the probe frames so it is passively scanning for broadcasts from APs within range. This explains why my reports are now displaying dozens of MAC addresses which do not resolve to any known vendor in my OUI database. The aim is to identify the real MAC address of the iDevice utilizing MAC randomization via comparison from multiple captures. I want to automate the process of creating soft APs based on a list of commonly connected APs such as starbucks in the hope that the device of interest has previously connect to at least one of these. I know I can load my soft AP ESSID list into a tool such as airbase-ng but I need something much more automated which will let the device automatically connect to the softAP (if the device is configured to) to reveal it's true MAC address, disconnect right after and then not allow re-connection whilst capturing into a pcap/csv. On occasions where I also have the key to a previously connected WPA2 AP I need the functionality to add that to the setup. I can then compare data from multiple captures in multiple locations to identify the device of interest.
  2. Are there any available scripts, tool kits or modules for the Pineapple which would allow me to only passively capture probe frames from iOS9 and other wifi enabled smartphones via the temporary setup of soft APs? My requirement is to upload a list of wifi networks such as 'Starbucks' or 'Virgin123' to create soft APs for the iOS devices (and any other device) to connect to and respond with their real MAC address. Once the real MAC addresses have been captured, I need to drop the connection and not re-establish with the device for the duration of its time in range. The final output (csv/pcap) should contain both the uncovered real MAC addresses and the bunch of random addresses.
  3. I've had the Mininote in the UK for just over 3 months now :D I was shown it by a HP beta tester and everything from the casing to the keyboard was so much better than the 7'' EeePc. I ordered the £350 Suse version from Misco with the 120gb HD and 1gb Memory (both of which I've upgraded now.) Currently dual-booting Win XP and OpenSuse - everything works fine The screen quality is excellent as far as i'm concerned and does it purpose for everyday tasks. The only problems I have had: *Can not get wireless to work with BT3 *The motherboard and Fan was replaced last week by HP and they forgot to stick back on the rubber feet on the bottom of the machine - HP tech support is probably the worst I have experienced! *Even with the new fan - the machine gets VERY HOT quickly, after an hour of use - you will burn yourself! Use a fan cooler if you can. *Don't put the lid down if the machine is very hot , some people have had there screens split. They may sound like major problems but overall I'm very happy with the HP2133, its good looking, the keyboard is easy to use, I have no problem with the mouse buttons at either side. If I had waited to today, I probably would have brought the Acer Aspire One with the 120gb HD due to the fact BT3 works out the box and the cost is cheaper yet the casing and keyboard don't seem as good.
  4. Woke up the other day, turned the laptop on (with ZoneAlarm installed) And I couldn't get onto firefox or MSN unless I turned it off because of the DNS problem. At first I thought it could have been my usb fingerprint reader I've only just brought, but once I uninstalled that, ZoneAlarm was the only thing left to shutdown. At least I know now. Thanks digip :D
  5. I personally would not use a hacksaw as it may result in personal injury I may have had an account for a year and not yet posted anything but lately started reading the forums ALOT, why the heck people post like above ^ I will never know. And by the way, if you can't work out/google search how to use the hacksaw or switchblade (even my non geeky gf can) then you should not be using it!
