Both drives I have tried have worked fine in previous FW versions... very odd....

I have been running with included POWER adapter the whole time... The flash has been reformatted a few times already.. will do again later.

Not an issue on 2.4.0....

Didn't happen until AFTER latest firmware... Going to try rolling back...

If I plug in the Flash Drive when the pineapple is off, it never boots up, the PWR light is on and the WPS keeps flashing. if I plug in the Flash Drive when the pineapple is on, USB blinks a few times, then all the lights except PWR go out, then WPS starts flashing.. What gives?

I upgraded to the current stable release, and when I plug in my USB flash that I have been using all along to store modules.. It seems to crash and the WPS light blinks.. only other light on is PWR... I have taken the flash and reformatted with EXT4 and even used another flash drive. What am I missing?

I would but it doesnt see my USB flash drive with all my modules... Boooo.... More reading I see... :)

Downloaded the DEV version, still no love.... Tells me MD5 is bad, and when I check it, its not the same as posted.

I tried to download and upgrade the firware from the bin file FROM the pineapple interface, and manually downloaded the file from the forum, same thing... Tells me the MD5SUM doesnt match... What gives?

I did this for a "blackbox" Inside is a 4 port USB HUB, an ALFA, and my AIRPCAP-NX, with a waterproof USB connector on the side. Might try to put it in something smaller..

The DELL is ALOT more $$ if you get it new, but its also a CRAPLOAD cheaper from the DELL outlet, go figure.. The config I got was spec'd out at $5kish new, but refurbished from the outlet $1500 Nvidia Optimus with Touchscreen, 8GB ram and i7 Core CPU. Threw 2x 256GB Crucial M4 SSDs in it and called it a day

Over 12 hours... I feel asleep.... :( As for the laptop, I used to use TOUGHBOOKS, but this thing has waaaaay more MUSCLE.

Ok, haven't messed with it at all but turned on the services and plugged into my battery pack to test how long it will last on BATT Power. Also plugged in a 16GB Lexar Echo Flash Drive.

Technically it's daddys RC stuff.. But she LOVES it! Plus they both take SIX AA batteries.. I took out the battery trays out of the bottoms of the controllers, and wired in a connector that will plug into my batt pack that I velcro to the bottom of the remote and i'm good for.. I don't know how long because I did it a few weeks ago and havent had to charge it yet! :)

They are super useful! I might have to add the pineapple to my cuurent "black box" that houses my AIRPCAP NX and my ALFA.

Good points... The Toughbook can take as much heat as any WIFI cards can dish out, after all, its all one big heatsink. Interference should be at a minimum, probably less than mounting them on the back of the LCD lid as usual.. The 3 antennas were pretty much for DEMO purpose, in reality, only one of the cards would be active at a time, and even then if I am in a vehicle, the RPSMA for the ALFA would go to a roof mounted MAG antenna whilst the AIRPCAP would "probbably" go to a 7db Rubber Ducky and a BIQUAD or CANTENNA.. I posted over at the Toughbook forums without much "love". Let me know what you guys think!!! So the idea of putting a USB hub inside the Optical Bay didn't work out.. I basically didn't know where to get 5v from for powering it. So, what I ended up doing was, since I don't use the REAR USB ports (mainly due to breaking things that I have had plugged into it when I forget they are there). I modded in a 4pin mini USB to connect to my ALFA 1W WiFi Adapter without its shell, and a FEMALE port to plug in my AIRPCAP adapter. Also, since I don't really use PCMCIA or EXPRESSCARDs, I decided that the best/easiest/possible only way to mount antennas was to MOD the optical bay door for the 3 RPSMA adapters I need to use. LOOKING FOR OPINIONS PEOPLE!!!
