I would expect the free stickers as well from larger purchase. They might forgotten to include them on your order.

Do you really want the stickers or anything else that advertises what you are using? This might be why they didn't send them, but I agree that it would be nice to have them (even if they are simply used at home. Some products do come with a removable velcro decal, so that might be the only other option (just my views)😎

Hi, asked somenthing about Rubber Ducky usb on 22nd of July, never received a single answer...if that are the support forums it's a tragedy...where eventually can I ask?? Because actually the item is quite useless...

    thank you.

    that was my question

Hi to all, I've received some days ago my rubber ducky. I't working fine, but I'm unable to create a payload that executes files on the key. I've found some payloads for credential extraction that uses nirsoft softwares. I've used the script, compiled it and putted on the key. I've also copied all the executables in the root. It gives me every time error that doesn't found the executables. Maybe because there's no drive letter mounted? Is there a real way to use externa programs on the key? In particular i'm testing that script. Is it working in some manner? or for windows 10 there's something better? Sorry if some seems stupid questions but i'm new at all.

No such thing as a stupid question buddy.

Did you try typing the details in (sorry if you have) without copy and paste?

Sometimes clearing the details and then rebooting helps sort out most gremlins.

It is a great product and I am sorry to hear that you are having problems.

This is a great forum (IMO) and I, for one, really like Hak5 products.

Do not give up, as it aids learning.

    Keep strong buddy

    Yeah.....

I read through this thread twice and still got lost.  If I read it correctly from the original question, it is asked why Hak5 products are tied to their servers.  Well, they are not.  The BashBunny, RUbbr ducky, and all their stuff does not require you to speak back to their server.  If you want new firmware and stuff, you can download it and install it but usage does not require..nor does it..talk back to Hak5.  The Cloud C2 might and if it does, it will be for product registration since that is one of their only products that has a free and paid tier so it has licenses.

So, I do not know of any Hak5 hardware that has a mandatory umbilical back to them.  Support you get is all manual.  Manual calling/emailing them and manually downloading and installing updates.  Hmm, I think the Pineapple speaks back to their server but only to return if there are updates and I believe there is an option to turn that off.

Thanks as always for an informative response. I know that members appreciate it😎

Sometimes the podcasts are limited broadcasting capabilities to discourage people like you n me who just wanna watch some streams . I have same problem with my android tv wheres i get at most a 65 ping but it keeps buffering every 10 - 20 minutes, best bet is find a different source of the broadcast. Never fails.

Spot on.............it is the only way to resolve the issue, although temporary, but worth it.

    Cheers😎

    Hey Guys

just used proxychains for bouncing the IP to different geolocation. the logic I used to populate the /etc/proxychains with proxy IP and then commenting out every proxy IP. Written a script that will iterate over all the IP one by one and commenting out the IP of preceding line and uncommenting the IP of the current iteration,

below is the demo video I have created

    Thanks

    Great video buddy..........well done......😎

It's been a few weeks since an episode of Hak5 has been released. I noticed that Darren is now engaged and that may slow things down.

But, as a old time fan, I really miss my weekly dose of technolust 😞

Hopefully this is just a blip.........🙏

ftp anon is one of my favorite pass times. But in the last month I have run ftp anon as  nmap -p 21 -iR 1000000 -oG "C:/Nmap Outputs/xxxxxx.txt --script ftp-anon every day. I know I easily scanned 20 million hosts and all of a sudden I am not getting any hits. What has changed? I normally hit on 30-40 per million.

    Quinnifer,

Did you solve the issue? If so, what was the outcome buddy?

    Cheers😎

    Hey everyone,

It's that time of year again and as you might imagine were very excited for DEF CON. We've been busy working on new features for Buffalo Bulldozer and amidst development we've generated a mostly feature complete (sans DIP switches) and stable port of the 6th generation WiFi Pineapple firmware for the Mark V. Flashing to and from this beta release will require a manual sysupgrade from the console (see commands below). Thank you all for your patience and continued support of the project - we're excited as always to see ever more creativity among the community.

We hope you enjoy this release!
    -The WiFi Pineapple Team

    Download: https://www.wifipineapple.com/downloads/mk5/3.0.0
    SHA256: 45bd51c665e0587ee137fa3ea87c03493b170f9668079ed0cecd4558c266a5ca

    Flashing:

    1. Download the upgrade-3.0.0.bin file linked above
    2. Verify the sha256 checksum
    3. SCP the downloaded .bin file to your pineapple's /tmp/ directory.
    4. SSH in to the WiFi Pineapple and execute the following command:
      sysupgrade -n /tmp/upgrade-3.0.0.bin
    5. Wait for the system to reboot and browse to http://172.16.42.1:1471

Awesome as always.......first for advice, assistance and support.........Keep up the good work guys and hope to see you at a DefCon one day......😎

i just wanted to know where to start to get a basic understanding of simple white hat hacking and when i am learning this i want to be able to put it in practice so i can see how it all works and build off it and eventually 10 years down the line be able to write my own scripts, thank you for all of your time

Rkiver has provided you with excellent advice and I echo them to you. It can be a bit confusing out there, so place a key term or word in the search section and let the computer do the rest.

Hope this helps you in some way 😎

    Hi fellow hackers,

I am from Australia and i was wondering if anyone knows of how to find or get into CyberSecurity in a red teaming role.

I am working on getting a bachelor degree in CyberSecurity and i have a communications degree. But i would love to get into a job where we get payed and legally audit a company.

it seems where i am from there is a lot of work, working for an organization, but there is not much red teaming jobs, I am thinking of starting my own business having at least four to five in the team each with special skills. I am thinking of finding skillful people at my uni and asking them if they are interested in starting a start up business. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Any progress on your quest?

    Cheers 😎
