  1. I have been playing with wifite.py on my device, and I noticed I ran out of space. /tmp/ is 100% full ... how can track down large files and remove them?
  2. You need 2. One for 5GHz and one for the 4.2 GHZ band. Someone said use the RIGHT side (with lights facing you) for lan1, I found that to be not correct. I got better signal with both antenna on the LEFT side.
  3. Just bought 2 Alfa 9dBi WiFi Booster SMA OMNI-Directional High-Gain from amazon and should get them tomorrow. I was a little confused on what 2 I need to replace for wlan1 (The attacking and monitor set of antennas). I will let you know how well they work.
  4. I would need 4 for the Tetra correct? Could you provide some links to where I can get them (like Amazon). 9-10dbi sounds perfect... go big or go home...
  5. Thank you Sir. The only other thing I noticed is the USB WiFi also had it's red light on (solid, not blinking).
  6. Lets start by saying, I know almost nothing about antennas. What antenna do you use? What is the dBi on the stock antenna (I did not see it on the product page). I prefer omni, but I was told if you want distance, you need a directional antenna. I'm open to suggestions..
  7. So, with my TETRA today, i was testing it out and playing with it in the tatical bag. I needed to shut it down, so while on the site, I clicked shutdown. After a few sec, they wifi went away (as expected) but the red light was still blinking. I waited about 4-5 more min, the red light was still flashing, so I just unplugged it. Restart seems to work fine... but when I run the shutdown command from the website, I expect it to "turn off".... Is anyone else having this issue? Am I missing something?
  8. I got the RALINK USB WIFI RT5370 from the hak5 shop, and when the tetra is in the tactical bag, wlan2 keeps failing. IE: after just a few min I loose wlan2 client connection and I'm literally just a few feet away. I often have to unplug the USB and plug it back in to fix the issue (it fails again within a few min). It also won't notice the USB Wifi after the tetra restarts, once again, I just unplug the USB and plug it back in. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it a heating issue? Should I get a different USB Wifi? Thanks!
  9. I went with 2 of the http://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Portable-Recharges-Panasonic/dp/B013HSWY5K It's been working great.
  10. I apologize for my mistake, I thought becuase things like "bashrc" did not work, that it ment it was not "bash" but called something else... Sorry about that. I did however go download easy-creds from SF and it is just a .sh file... I did not test it on the TETRA.
  11. Does not look like it. root@Pineapple:~# opkg search easy-creds root@Pineapple:~# opkg find easy-creds root@Pineapple:~# opkg search '*easy*creds*' root@Pineapple:~# opkg find '*easy*creds*' root@Pineapple:~# opkg install easy-creds Unknown package 'easy-creds'. Collected errors: * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package easy-creds. Oh, and it looks like "easy-creds is a bash script" meaning it won't run on OpenWRT anyway.... TETRA uses BusyBOX I think?
  12. It looks like there is a package already for aircrack-ng called "besside-ng" but it's not in the list of installable packages... I'm going to looking compiling my own and moving onto the device... not sure what this will take yet... but it sounds like a good feature I want...
  13. Thank you, I did not see this video... if it's on the Tetra, I should be able to locate the module and just read the code... I'm not trying to steal anything, just trying to get ideas on how to code this up. I had a few ideas: 1: Auto handshake find all AP in range, deauth them and the clients that it can find, get handshake or give up after X min (clean it and change to hashcat format). Then move to the next one and try again. 2: Wash / Reaver auto crack. Will try bully on all AP in range, and if it gets a WPS lock, move on to the next one... Once all completed in range, start over again and resume... (so AP's with longer time outs will still cracked sooner or later) but you can move on to others while waiting.
  14. Hello, I'm a PHP developer, but I'm very new to BASH scripting and making a backend script work with a webpage. Where can I find docs or a tutorial on how to make a module for the TETRA? How can I view the code of modules that have been already created? like the recon module? Can modules hook-into the stock options? (Example: on recon page, there is a drop-down arrow that allows users to add SSID to a pool, could a module "hook" into that and add another option?)
  15. That is expensive, and I would need 2 of them? I know it needs 18 W, but I'm not sure on how to check if 1 of them can produce that amount.....
  16. I was able to use opkg to install reaver and bully, but was does not seem to work. When I run it, i get the following: it returns VERY fast... does not display any results. root@Pineapple:~# wash -i wlan1mon Wash v1.5.2 WiFi Protected Setup Scan Tool Copyright (c) 2011, Tactical Network Solutions, Craig Heffner <cheffner@tacnetsol.com> mod by t6_x <t6_x@hotmail.com> & DataHead & Soxrok2212 & Wiire & kib0rg BSSID Channel RSSI WPS Version WPS Locked ESSID --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17. Hey! as some of you know, the TETRA no longer comes with batteries. I'm trying to find a set on Amazon that I could use to power this bad boy... Just wanted to hear some options and see what others thought would be a good option. I found this one below, was thinking of getting 2 of them (note there are 2 options, I was looking at 2x 15,000 unit) http://www.amazon.com/KMASHI-10000mAh-External-Battery-Portable/dp/B00JM59JPG?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A1ZG30H7CWDVPC
  18. Not sure why that posted... I did not click pot yet. 1: I also found out you can run this from kali and it places the file in the current dir. sftp 2/3: Thanks 4: Will look into how to setup open VPN 5: I found what the status lights mean in the draft of the manule here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KVYSTedUJTjn8VxG2Wk2iXeo3QHnnwM8V1GVFnr8w8c/edit?pref=2&pli=1# 6: this was because I had PineAP demon running... They were fighting over what channel it should be on. 7: The only reason I wanted a bashrc was so I could setup ll = ls -ltrh ... I hate typing that out all the time. lol 8: Not sure I'm 100% on this. There are 2, under wifi management. One is open and hidden and the other is WPA2 but not hidden. I also ways use the WPA2 one, and have a nice long password. So the "open" one is just to get clients to connect? Not a management one? but it is under management section.... Also, if i want to add a free WiFi one, I could just add it to the PineAP SSID pool, and broadcast it.
  19. Thank you for the answers.
  20. How do I go about installing reaver and wash on the TETRA? Thanks!
  21. I contacted support about that, it no longer comes with batteries. They said they are looking into a new options for a "1 battery" power source instead of the 2, and they will offer an upgrade package later when (or if) it becomes available.
  22. I'm very new to all of this, but here are some of my questions with my new TETRA 1: How do I get files off the TETRA? Lets say I have a .cap file I want to process, how do I get it off? SFTP or something like that? if yes, does Kali come with SFTP tool? 2: What is gateway for? I don't understand what is bar-lan? what about the eth0, eth1? My best guess is that bar-lan is the place where clients connect? So they are separated? 3: I'm also seeing a wlan0 wlan0-1 wlan1mon wlan2? ... It looks like wlan2 is my client mode USB dongle, wlan1mon is monitor mode, but how come there are 2 wlan0? 4: lets say client mode wifi is connected to my WiFi, I don't want random client data leaving from my IP, as if they do happen to be bad people, they could get me in trouble... Is there a way to create a VPN tunnel so all outgoing traffic has will use it? 5: What do the lights mean on the front of the TETRA? Sometimes I just have a blue light, sometimes blue and a red one... not I just have a red one? 6: How do I lock channels? If I'm trying to capture something on -c 1, I don't want it jumping all over the place, but I keep seeing it say "fixing from channel X" Is this because I have the PineAP demon on? 7: .bashrc - this might be dumb question but I thought I would add it... There is no .bashrc in /root/ if I create one, will it be used? 8: Under Access Points, There is an "Open Access Point" ... What is this for? It's hidden by default. But no off switch? That is all I can think of right now, Thanks a lot in advance for any help!
  23. Hello! I'm very new to penesting and I'm looking for someone who could help mentor me a little. My TETRA arrived today and I will have a lot of questions on how to get startedone. I have watched all the videos on how to connect it to my phone and PC (and the primer)... Anyway, if any of you want a pet project, I'm willing to learn.
