Skeptical with how randomized the worlds will be, but I love me some space exploration games. Hell I bought a HOTAS setup just for Elite: Dangerous (can't wait for the planet landing expansion on that either).

Hmmm not had any issues with my 15000s not powering my Pineapple, in fact it ran my Pineapple and charged my Nexus 7 at the same time.
Haven't tried the simultaneous charging and running Pineapple off it at the same time just due to the fact never been limited by outlets when at home doing both, will give it a shot and report back.

I'd take a look at the capacitors first even without a diagram.

I think it may be seemingly slower on older laptops due to gdm3 being a bit more resource intensive, I also saw on the official Kali forums some people noticing some background services running that could be causing issues.
Will try to dig that up, but like most new OS releases, it's going to take a bit to iron out all the bugs and issues.

Well I got some of my parts and the Pi in the mail and so far soldering from the 12V power point to the adapter I bought and soldering it to mini USB has no problems with powering the Pi.

I noticed it didn't come with the typical Gnome customization tools, any idea how to set it up for custom icons. So used to KDE.

I'd also recommend an upgrade to the RAM as it tends to be cheap. SSDs are gonna be cheaper soon with the latest benchmarks and developments, just since you're semi new NEVER defrag a SSD.

Got Kali installed on my personal laptop. Now I just need to figure out why the damn fan is trying to make the laptop hover.
Weird it's running fine on mine, even got rid of my Win7 partition on it and turned it into a dedicated Kali laptop now, the fun part is setting up my ssh and vnc stuff like I used to have it since the dist-upgrade fucked that heh.
Glad it at least has pixiewps and the reaver fork needed included now, gonna see if I can get the AutoPixieWPS python script working again as it hasn't been kept up to date with the reaver fork, but managed by messing with a few lines to make it work right.
The joys of getting a new Kali install setup heh.
That and NetHunter and reinstalling all my apps and widgets not included in that has taken up some time.

Nexus 7 2013 wifi edition, it doesn't see my TL-WN722N, AWUS036H, and unfortunately my bud is borrowing my AWUS036NEH so can't test that. Are you going straight OTG connection or a OTG y cable with power?

Well just FYI anyone who is looking to update their NetHunter, Lollipop still has issues with external wifi cards, but like last release KitKat doesn't.
Thankfully it doesn't take all that long to revert back to KitKat and install Nethunter.

It should be fine as the Pineapple shouldn't draw any more than 3.1A, though I prefer to have dedicated value ports on my battery packs rather than some "Smart AI" gimmick.

For my mobile setup I have an Asus K53-BBR4 which I upgraded to 8gb of RAM I picked up in 2012 and never had any issues with it. Dual boot Windows 7 and Kali on it no problem.
I also have a Nexus 7 2013 model I run Kali Nethunter on.
As stated above you don't need anything overkill especially if your just learning, plus you can always ssh or use a vnc connection to your home desktop.

Well yeah a well seeded torrent tends to run a lot faster, sadly nethunter and pi2 builds aren't on torrents. Have my lappy up on Kali 2.0 already though and impressed. Now for my pi2 and Nexus 7 2013.
That and need to update my live-usb and live dvd and cd that tend to be in my bag.

Yea I backed up my important stuff, as it's a dual boot and was debating testing win 10 on the other as honestly 7 is just basic stuff and seasons of Ghost Adventures to watch downloaded
Gonna do a full Kali 2.0 fresh install then Win 10 and see if it messes up my Kali since I saw some complaints of Win 10 messing up nix partitions.

Yea not sure on Nethunter either as I'm downloading both the Kit-Kat and Lollipop versions for a fresh install tomorrow just in case external wifi cards are still broken on Lollipop.
Saw the warning, figured I'd give it a shot as I had some custom changes and a few manually updated (ie: custom reaver fork for pixiewps attack and some others).
Just sucked waiting so long on my potato-net (thanks Time Warner) for a broken update to start all over.

They removed support for metasploit pro/commercial, just uses metasploit-framework now

Yea updating myself atm, wondering if updating my Nethunter N7 2013 will be worth the headache and if external wifi drivers are working on it for the Lollipop build as I haven't see anything about it on the official forums.

Weird it's having issues as the default nexus device connecting to my wifi, but fine for injecting under kali nethunter.

Cheers for that Crestofiy. Don't have too many 5GHz networks in my immediate area, but always good to have an adapter that works under Kali for them. Can never have enough tools.

Yea you're going to have a hard time finding console game server files unfortunately. You could try to e-mail the company/devs who made/published the game (pretty much a longshot), but server based games/MMOs for the most part that go dead stay dead sadly with a few exceptions.
