Hello everyone, I have a 32GB flash drive. When i plan to reformat it something goes wrong, I can't format it there's a message shows that my flash drive is write protected, even if I copy and make a new folder inside of it it shows the same message. I going crazy on how to fix it. Is there a chance to fix it? I hope that you can help me. Thanks a lot everyone.
SanDisk is know for this issue.
Try this site i have heard that the have made some progress on this but you know hearsay...

not sure how to do it on linux but you need to set the program that you are using to real time processing in windows you just go into task manager and set the priority.

You just gave me another reason to get a SDR dongle! :P
Damn I gotta order one now...
type sdr decode into youtube or sdr (whatever your looking to do) there are multiple applications for an sdr

Stuck that link in my SDR bookmark folder, thanks. I was having a heck of a time getting stuff set up until I installed Kali Linux 1.0.6. It has Gqrx already installed with all the Drivers and stuff for a few different dongles. The install is kind of flakey or maybe I'm just use to a simpler install like Ubuntu or Point Linux but I DID get it installed and it is working. If you have trouble getting SDR set up on your machine give Kali a look.
Thanks! If i have problems ill ask you for help.

try to reset using the dip switches or re-flash it also check to make sure you dip switches are in the right position.
-
well if you can get the encrypted hash from the reg. then try an online hash cracker like crackstation

Here are some of the talks on irongeeks site.

Trying to get a grip on the different firmwares and read all about them here:
http://code.google.com/p/ducky-decode/wiki/Which_Firmware
but still trying to understand which one would allow a user to insert ducky, run HID program PLUS download a stored program residing on the ducky onto the target?
Does such a duck exist?
Thank you!

I am going to try to help you in your pic http://i44.tinypic.com/21c81fn.png the file name is wrong it says inject (15).bin it needs to be inject.bin this comes from creating multiple files in the same directory called inject.bin so my suggestion to you is to format the sd card the ducky is on delete all the inject.bins you have created make a inject.bin with the hello world script put it on the sd of the ducky with the proper file name inject.bin I can assure you that your device is not faulty. Everything that i have seen you post is user error (PEBKAC). We are here to help but will not spoon feed you. There have been several people that have tried to help you and point you in the right direction and you have chosen to put these people down and insult them, you have not followed the rules about only posting your question once and you are not patient or willing to look up and research what your are dong wrong. YOU INSULT THE GUY THAT HAS WRITTEN ALL OF THE FIRMWARE FOR THE DEVICE. you will not get any more help form me and probably others with this display of ignorance and arrogance. There are not people on here 24/7. so be patient do research understand simple windows file structure. if you don't know it go look it up there is no shame in not knowing just not trying.

unfortunately you have a brick i have done the same thing. What you did is supply it two sources of power and overloaded one source wast the power adapter and the other was the uart. Sorry man you have a brick.
-
Wow all of that and not a single answer i was looking for. Ill let someone else help you.

Please only post you question in the proper forum and only once. First we need more info plus the scrip that you converted to the inject.bin so that we can look at it. Second what firmware did you flash and last your pics are not showing properly. We are glad to help you with your new duck but need more info.

"Rob Fuller (@mubix) created a great tool called VT-Notify. VT-Notify works by sending a SHA1 hash of a binary to VirusTotal through its API. The key thing to note here is that your payload is not uploaded to VirusTotal, simply its SHA1 hash. VirusTotal then uses the SHA1 hash against its AV solutions, and let’s you know if any of the SHA1 hashes have been flagged/detected by any of the antivirus solutions it has available. Again, while we still think it’s best to not submit any information anywhere, this is the best solution for checking to see if your payloads have been flagged."
Taken from the web. Never scan you pay load directly with an av.
