  1. Removal of a windows password doesn't mean it is illegal, and I've had to do it quite a few times for schools, having it on a USB Rubber Ducky would be rather useful.

It is illegal if it is not your pc to do so on; that is my point. He stated "i've been wanting to make something like this to pwn walmart display laptops with." Just in case you missed it. If you have permission to do so from the owner of the pc it is fine but i dont think he is going to call walmart up and ask permission to do that to the walmart displays.

  2. First off, Basic info.

Using 64 bit LXDE linux , Unsure of version.

Laptop bios is u pto date.

LXDE has been updated but the problem existed before

    So the problem.

Network manager seems to keep seeing my Wifi security as WEP instead of WPA WPA2, who uses WEP any more. Sometimes the laptop can connect just fine and sees the security as what it is. The problem seems to originate from putting the laptop to 'sleep' then waking it again. The problem continues through a few reboots and eventually fixes itself allowing the laptop to connect to the network again. The problem exists for only the networks the laptop was connected to as it can see other networks security fine and can connect to them just fine, however if the laptop sleeps again the problem progresses to that network as well. This has forced me to concede that it is a problem with the laptop rather than with the network.

Wondering if anyone one can help or point me in the right direction as how to fix the problem.

Will provide more information if needed.

I had a similuar issue i found out that the drivers were not up to date. Funny thing is that the manufacture of the laptop didnt have the most current driver on their website so i had to go to the manufacture of the wifi car to get the most up to date driver.

  5. "KeySweeper is a stealthy Arduino-based device, camouflaged as a functioning USB wall charger, that wirelessly and passively sniffs, decrypts, logs and reports back (over GSM) all keystrokes from any Microsoft wireless keyboard in the vicinity"

  6. The Asus is by far the best I've owned so far as far as home consumer based routers go; most stable, built in, non modded firmware needs and fastest all around.

The only reason i am running a merlin build of the firmware is because he improved on the graphics and function of the orignal firmware. The guy that built the orignal firmware for the router is also the guy that makes the merlin build, that is what i was told anyways. Here is the link to the site to see the improved features. http://www.lostrealm.ca/tower/node/79

  7. I agree with sud0nick i would start small like the protoX if you look around you can get 1 for about 28$ an i have had one it will defentaly take a beating i have crashed it 100's of times and it is still good as new. Plus it flies just like the big ones just make sure to trim it out and if it starfs flying funny pull off the blades and check for hair wraped aroung the shaft of the motors.

  8. I agree with Seb this is nothing more than hosting a site with a fake router page. Problem is that most people will not know what wpa is and if they do, they know that the page it is hosting is not their routers page. So this program is really grasping for straws IMHO. Plus if you know that you cant connect to a ap that you want to are you really going to try to connect to other peoples AP's. and then this page pops up asking for a wpa password for a router you dont know.I just dont see this working well. This pineapple can do all of this and more.
