You cant just "accidentily" delete u3 . U3 is stored in a emulated cdms partition so you cannot just freely delete or add stuff to it. The only way to remove it is using the u3 uninstaller or you could have curroupted your usb when you tried to flash your u3 partition.

Is it possible to update the iso for the u3 hacksaw/switchblade launcher? The most recent sandisk u3 launcher has a little redsquare that appears on the desktop that allows access to u3 just like the taskbar icon, but when i update with your u3 iso it is not there. Is there a way to update u3 on your iso?

Try a backdoor password. Search your computer's mobo's backdoor password. Also the power-on password has to do with your BIOS not harddrive so try finding your bios jumpers you should have one it should be near your cmos chip or something.

My school uses novell which blocks off a whole lot of stuff. I have a u3 drive which i would like to use at school but novell makes it so the computer can only open select drives so i can only open the the CDFS partition. I tried to use cmd prompt to open but explorer.exe G: was restricted and so was command.com. So i was wondering if there is like a u3 program that i can acess it so some other method though like command prompt or something. Also since my school locks the taskbar the u3 launchpad is unaccessable but if i make the u3 programs auto run the programs work is there a way to bypass that so i can acess the u3 launch pad
