I recently aquired Ubuntu 10.04, and I saw Hak.5 S06E14 about using SSH as a Proxy, however that was pretty much the client side. Is there an episode for basic configuration for an SSH Server usage as a Socks Proxy, because several thinks aren't that very bright to me like how to start and stop the SSH Server, if I use it as a SOCKS proxy, is the port 8080 to be forwared on My Gateway router at home where my SSH Server is.
If anyone could clarify, or redirect me to the right place, I'd be very thankfull :).
