So after a full night of drinking and partying, passing out in front of my monitor watching a past episode of hak5, i have a hang over and it sucks.
I read that drinking apple cider helps, but I don't have any.
what do you guys do when you have a hang over?

Hey guys! I downloaded the show yesterday and watched it last night. I loved every bit of it! The crappy audio and video quality didn't really bother me, tbh because at least it wasn't choppy and really horrible to watch. The funniest part of the show was when Alli and you guys explained how her hdd crashed and she erased her back up! Sorry guys, but that was lmfao hilarious.
Anyway, I was a bit diasppointed that the show was cut off 45 mins into it, but hey, it was a pilot!
I look forward to the next release and keep on rocking with your technolust!

My friend installed Cain and Abel on his desktop machine with XP Pro. After he ran a couple of scans, his computer froze and then crashed. When he rebooted, his net connection wasn't working. It just said "limited or no activity".
Any suggestions?

My friend uses wordpad or notepad to have aim conversations at work. I've tried searching this method through google but to no success. Anybody know how to do this?

I remember my junior year of school, my friend and I hacked into the schools network and gained access to all the admins passwords. They were using a weird as fucking password too, it was called Y2KCLUB.

I get an error everytime I try to open up "my computer". The error reads c++ windows library windows explorer terminated.

actually aardwolf I completely agree with you. This new generation is full of excuses. But yes. They're told they have all these things wrong with them and they give up on themselves in a way. It's pathtic. And whats worse is they find someone to justify it in their mind and dont do anything to "fix it"
How can you fix adhd without taking meds and growing out of it? Please explain that to me. And ADHD is a disorder, I don't care if you think it's bullshit or not. I know, I suffered from it and I have alot of embarassing moments from my childhood due to it. The only thing you can really do about it is take meds and grow out of it.
So if you think that this generation is using a disorder as an excuse, kiss my hackler butt.

alright, my speakers on my computer used to be really loud, but since i reinstalled xp, they just wont go anywhere near the same volume. i have looked in the sound and audio device settings, and everything is up full. ive downloaded the latest drivers, nothing works. wtf?
its a intel 82801ba/bam ac'97 audio controller.

LOL, cool. Here's a slight fact about me. I was under severe adhd all childhood and I still suffer from it. Though I've matured alot since I was a kid, I'm still a bit immature. So yeah..thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
That's the problem with the current generation. They were told they had a problem at an early age, doped up on meds, and now they've got an excuse. :roll:

I wouldn't consider the less-than-hot girls ugly. I'd jsut consider them beautiful in their own way. And it's not that I'm going after ugly girls, I'm just gonna get more involved with the ones that are in my league.

Hmm, do you take medication/assistance for the condition? I didn't mean that at all in jest-I know people with it and they find it hard to control, most people find it easier with age, I imagine because of raging hormones in your teenage years.
Not anymore, I used to be doped up on retaline for years. But I'm not even 1/4th as hyper anymore. The main thing right now is my lack of attention span. So they don't see the need to buy any medication for me because I'm not anywhere near what I used to be.

I hate admitting this, but I think age is indeed an indication of maturity level for the vast majority of people. I think this incident has lent a hand to this notion.
I am 19 also. I'd like to think I'm mature for my age... I thank you, 1337n00b. You've just made me feel better about my own levels of maturity ;)

I've read alll the posts and I get the idea that you guys don't think I have any clue on how to pick up women. I've had a few girlfriends in the past, I know how to pick up women. It's just sometimes, I go for the ones that are out of my league without noticing it till afterwards. No, I'm not saying I'm a player; I am a shy guy but I'm not helpless either.

I didn't. I was just summarising a story, one of my weaknesses and that I got denied. You guys just took it as if I was asking for dating tips. But I guess I shouldn't have even started the thread in the first place.

I'm going to experiment with this computer and learn some new prog languages on it (if i can) and maybe even learn a new distro of linux.
Right now my favorite languages are php and c++.

I liked this show. It was good. Like digip said, I too hate cell phones but the nokia cphone looked pretty cool.
The XBOX 360 mod was awesome! I really liked that piece.
