  1. First here are my PC Specs

Core 2 Quad 2.6ghz,2 Gb DDR2 Mem,XFX Nvidia Geforce 8600GT and I'm currently running Windows XP.

Now for the question. Is the beta release of Windows 7 stable and usable? That I can install it as the lone OS without XP.Do Windows Vista and XP Apps work in Se7en?

    Please gimme suggestions.

  2. In this instance it means "for example"

(Windows) Remote Desktop. VNC is similar but less Windows specific. Remote X is a Linux thing. All do the same thing which is allow you to see applications running on a remote computer.

"for example"....I got confused  as it was written in capitals.I usually write it as ie.

And RDP means Remote Desktop ! [nearly guessed it as the webpage mentions it]

Thanks for the answers.

  3. The only way it could work is if they give you some kinda remote access to a system that has a very fast connection. IE you RDP into a box, which can download 10GB in 10s, using a dial up connection. You get the fast page download times despite having a piss poor connection yourself. IE a primitive form of computer as a service rather than a product.

However, its most likely to be a scam, given that this kinda tech need serious capital to get going. But there is a market for it, i know of photographers who have a windows VPS with photoshop installed they can use anywhere in the world.

    Two questions ?

1.What is IE ? Is it Internet Explorer

    2.What is RDP ?

  4. I think TOR is mostly run by non-profit organizations but many individuals also operate as TOR exit node to steal your password and other sensitive data by sniffing the data going through them.

  5. I totally agree with blue dragon.TOR is extremely slow  ..sometimes it just takes forever to load web pages.TOR will only be good if you are just routing text rather than media. When I heard of TOR of it for the first time,I thought I was gonna be invincible and totally private but I realized I was wrong. :(

  6. Hi,

I was wondering if the 250x computing power of the tesla super computer max out gaming performance.I mean can we play crysis warhead or may be gta 4 with full settings and at the resolution of 2560X1600 ?I know there is 3-way sli and quad sli which can do the job but wont the tesla be able to do it better.

The guys at Nvidia haven't mentioned about gaming.I guess its only for 3D rendering and HD video rendering and other power hungry stuff.Wish tesla could be used to play games.
