geekdba Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Please can somebody help, I have installed wifi-radar (want to check it out) I done sudo apt-get install wifi-radar It said it installed, so now how do i use/load the app? Thanks in advance Quote
Joerg Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 WiFi Radar runs in two modes * To do a quick scan and connect to any available profile: sudo wifi-radar -d * To show the UI and manage profiles: sudo wifi-radar http://wifi-radar.systemimager.org/ Just in case you don't figure it out: open a command prompt and type those commands :) If you're using the shipped xandros, you can open a terminal by pressing ctrl+alt+t Quote

Joerg Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 I don't know if there's a way to have it as an icon. Try to google it :) Edit /etc/wifi-radar.conf Change the entry that refers to eth1 to ath0 or wifi0. http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-724652.html Ah yes, you should have tried to enter your error message into your favorised search engine.
