TCP2oo4
I have about 200 Windows XP Pro/NT/2000 machines across 6 branches that I manage for a Credit Union. I am looking for an open-source program that would allow me to make preconfigured workstation types and the assign users to a workstation "type" and then have the software and links then installed on the machine as automatically as possible. Currently I'm old schooling it and ghosting from machine to machine as needed or RDC'ing (time consuming!) Management users needs certain programs, teller need certain programs/links, and etc. Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks!
SmoothCriminal
Norton ghost works great!!! (the only limit to how many machines you can image at a time is server quality and network limitations). It is not open source but it won't break the bank either (thats kind of ironic :-?).
