I closed the page and browsed to the page and the above is no longer in the URL.

Seems like a glitch caused when accessing the device via a URL from my history.

Never noticed it before, but there could be a URL tampering vulnerability. Not really an issue with a single-user web portal. Of course, your username and password are transmitted in plaintext anyway if you don't set up SSL.
