uk47
I have a LAN Turtle running the "NetCat Reverse Shell" module. When I listen for the connection on my VPS, I get a connection. I then run an nmap scan and see my virtual-machine's ip address on the same network. When I try to SSH into my virtual machine from the Turtle I get an error message stating: "kali@192.168.0.8: Permission denied (publickey, password)." This is strange because I have port 22 open and also I have configured /etc/ssh/sshd_config to accept password authentication. I am able to SSH into my virtual-machine from my Windows host through Powershell, but am not able to through my "Turtle reverse-shell connection". Anybody who has had this problem? Any tips for a fix?
