jam35_0n Posted February 8, 2007 Share Posted February 8, 2007 evrybody! i had tried to convert my 1 Gb flahsdrive kingston into u3 kingston with my friend's flashdrive. i use winhex 13.7, and then using Clone Disk in winhex, i clone my logical drive FD, but i still can use this drive. to the first author, can u show me/us how to use winhex, so that i/we can change nonU3 FD into U3 FD. tenkyu tenkyu Arigatou gozaimas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

elmer Posted June 18, 2007 Share Posted June 18, 2007 Well, no one has had any success doing this except for on one particular thumb drive. I think Moonlit said it best: Unless the drive is manufactured as a U3 drive, it *cannot* be used as one. If the hardware isn't present then it simply can't work.
