Forceable
hi ya folks, ive gone without a firewall for a while now, but due to recent threats i feel its time i should protect myself with some sort of firewall. so my question is, whats the best firewall out there (windows based, yes yes i know im screwed anyway but i may as well make it slightly harder for them!) is there something similar to iptables for windows with configurable firewall rules thats open source? and is there any sort of default lists that i should add to it? Sparda
That big foot $300 gaming actually gives you IP tables like firewall.
psycho
well to put it to ya this way, if you ask "the best" you will get this and that, one thing to ask would be "what do you use?" as for me i use Sygate on windows, with a few little homebrew things on the side and i haven't had any problems

psycho
that made no sense what made no sense about it, if you ask someone what the best firewall out there is, you will get different responses stating they are the best, if you just ask what do you guys use, you will still get different responses because there is always something better than what you think is the best
