daven2411 Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 (edited) Hi, I have just updated my Packet Squirrel to version 3.0 of the firmware and now the payload in Switch Position 1 doesn't work. The light starts off flashing green, then goes steady green, then goes off. There is not file created in the loot folder. The upgrade was successful as indicated by VERSION being 3.0. optybg Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 I have the same problem... Also, the computer does not have Internet access. I am using PS for the first time after receiving it and immediately updated from v1.0 to v3.0 and I do not know if the problem is with fw or with the cable I am using. daven2411 Posted August 9, 2019 Author Share Posted August 9, 2019 Sorted !!! What you need to do is switch the packet squirrel to arming mode. When the flashing blue light appears, put a usb drive into the usb port. SSH onto the device and run 'reformat_usb' ( Takes a minute or two ) Then power off the packet squirrel and change the switch to position 1. The payload should then run.
