CAINuKe
I am new to linux to an extent but not completely useless So recently I got ahold of a wifi pineapple and when I power it on all the lights come on. Then I get the classic (so I'm told) solid red and green then a flash of the amber (Only a single flash) then it goes to solid green then blinking blue. Then it restarts with all the lights on and the process is again the same. I tried the web interface unbricking method and I cant actually connect to 192.168.1.1 address in either windows or ubuntu (Static IP set to 192.168.1.2) A factory reset with the dip switches hasnt done anything noticeable. That I can tell at least. I have looked into manually flashing it but I cant find really a detailed tutorial on how to do it. is the Pineapple perma-bricked? Mr-Protocol
The dip switch is to enable the 192.168.1.1 interface for recovery. That may be your issue. If not I'll see if I can make a video on how to do it later.
CAINuKe
So the dip switch setting 1-1-1-1-0 isnt the correct setting for recovery? (Basically the one being on the farthest right down)
Mr-Protocol
Dip switch 5 (the one closest to the antenna) needs to be down for Recovery mode.
