cat6
Hey all, not certain if this is the corrct area to post this in. I apologize in advance if it's not.I'm in search of recommendations for a couple of open source, or cost effective RoIP (Radio Over IP) solutions, something similiar to WAVE mobile communicator, which allows secure communications between mobile devices and two way radios. Examples: http://www.twistpair.com/ https://www.twistpair.com/index/communicators-mobile While I have found several mobile apps that offer can achieve this, they require a HAM license. The other RoiP solutions I've researched appear as though they might fill our needs and that's ok but I prefer hearing from someone in the Info Sec community who may have experience with any of the same. The other solution I seek is somethig similiar to voxxer or zello (2-way/PTT over mobile). However, because these apps do not offer end to end encryption, and privacy policies indicate that data transmitted over their servers is logged and kept on both sender and receiving mobile devices;they are of no use to my client. Additionally, Voxxer makes mention that they will hand over logs to gov't agencies that require the same. This we do not want.If anyone has any experience with any of this, (I do Not) and can point me in the right direction I'd be most greatful. Here is a link to nine different RoIP solutions I've found so far not counting Wave.http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/RadioCheers!
