BigDaddy Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Hey guys, can the idea of this post be done with USB Ducky? http://www.latesthackingnews.com/2014/05/13/hack-androids-lock-screen-with-an-arduino/ Here is a very interesting article found at http://blog.infosecsee.com about how to use an Arduino to hack a 4 digit pin code android device. The code will try to the top 20 PIN’s before starting its brute force cycle. For this attack to work you will need an Arduino Leonardo, or an Arduino that can act as a HID (Human Interface Device), an USB OTG (on-the-go) cable and a target device. If you went from 0000 – 9999 the hack would take roughly 16 hours, the odds are you would get it before then though. And the source for it is attached... Thanks, BigDaddy source.zip Quote
TGYK Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 (edited) It has been done, Darren displays it in one of the hak5 videos. I am not sure exactly which one, but it was fairly recent. Edit: Here it is. Edited January 1, 2015 by TGYK Quote
Rkiver Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Darren and I did it a few years back at a talk he did in Dublin Institute of Technology using my phone. Very possible. Quote
