The disassociation problem

Hi Seb,

here is the needed thread for the disassociation problem. I can reproduce the problem with my Nexus 7 LTE 2013.

Enabled Karma, PineAP, Dogma, Harvester, Beacon Response. After that i'm unable to connect the tablet with the pineapple.

The pineapple is in front of me ~ 50cm away.

How did you config you Beacons rate ? (agressive | normal | low ) ?

It could theoretically be, that i dont own this device . But surely i have a permission to the test this on these.

No idea on what for a OS it runs. But must be a Asus (MAC AC:22:0B AsustekC)

But somethimes my HTC and Sony Phones are going crazy like this one.

One has a modded ROM and the sony is on stock.

Yes it is a Nexus 7 2013 LTE (see the first post). I'm running a AOKP Rom on it (Android 4.4.4)

Hey Sebkinne,

this thread was created because you wanted it.

This is an interesting issue and I would love for you to create a new thread about it, detailing all the information you can provide. While Darren was able to reproduce the issue, it was because of connectivity (range) issues between client and Pineapple. In a close / semi close environment, I am personally not able to reproduce the issue with my different phones / tablets / laptops. There would be ways to completely disable the deauth due to inactivity, but this could have rather unexpected results. The plan is to play around with this and release a beta specifically for people with this issue.

I am sorry that we haven't been on top of this issue in the past, but it was simply because it is not an issue that is easy to replicate for myself / some of the people that regularly test issues out for us.

Would be cool if you can say something about it ?!
