I am running Ubuntu 12.04. I'm trying to remote desktop to my work PC which is Windows 7. I found information on the internet on how connect to the VPN using OpenConnect. I have to tunnel made. My question is what is the next step to get to my desktop? Do I need to forward all traffic through the tunnel or just the remote desktop client? How is that accomplished?

If you need to get into your work's desktop computer, I would use TeamViewer, it would be a lot easier for you, since TeamViewer uses SSL to bypass any firewall restrictions.
