QZak Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Hey lads just wondering if some1 can point me in the right direction of setting up a wlan without a router i was thinking of using a spare box with a wireless card in it and using this like a router and i want to be able to connect 3 other pc's to it wirelessly can any point me to a good tutorial or is this even possible. stingwray Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 You'll need to turn the computer into a wireless access point for multiple machine to connect, you also need to check whether your wlan card is happy being put into AP mode, otherwise you will have lots of problems. I think Linux/BSD would be best with this, although tutorial I have not got. Quote
