Mother
So I picked up a AWUS036H from the hakshop and plugged it in to my Backtrack 5 laptop but it does not get recognized. Do I need to do anything to get it to work?
digip
ifconfig -a, see if it is there and then start it ifconfig up wlan0 or whatever its ID is. Also, do a dmesg before plugging it in, then do dmesg again after, see what kind of info you get, if its erroring out or what not. Mother
Yes I see it as WLAN2. I also have a WLAN0 which is my onboard intel. When I do 'ifconfig wlan2 up' I get SIOCSIFLAGS: unknown error
