Matt {Undead} Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I seen a section ages ago on hak.5 about cain and connecting to an unsecure wireless network. I tried using cain after connecting to an unsecure wireless network near me, i selected the sniffer device (my wireless card) in the config and then starting packet sniffing. When I clicked the + it came up with a box asking me to scan the ip ranges, i did this and it still kept doing it. I did this under the sniffer tab to scan for all the computers on the network but nothing shows up. I have zonealarm installed and windows firewall, would these be blocking can from working at all?
