Jamo Posted May 27, 2011 Share Posted May 27, 2011 Hi. I got LG optimus x2, which I can tether in Wifi hotspot and over usb. Devices connected to my phone (wifi hotspot or over usb tethering) will get ip 192.168.42.xxx When I had Nokia phones tethering over USB got me a public IP for PC, so there was no NAT. However now my android it has nat. Lets say, my laptop is connected to my android hotspot, and someone needs to ssh to my laptop. So I need to port forward port 22 or what ever I want to use, from my android to my laptop. How to do it? Or is it even possible to do. I haven't yet rooted my phone.
