Mr-Protocol
Backup home folder, Install R2. Maybe try to boot live CD of R2 and see if it works. I recently went from Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 on my laptop. nVidia & broadcom (display and wireless) did not work right. Installed 10.04 LTS again and it worked great. 10.10 Fresh install did not fix it either.
c0r
That's what i mean,i think it's better to install a new backtrack then doing the dist-upgrade. So when you run ./armitage all you get are these errors? Nothing else? c Edited December 4, 2010 by c0r

ParMan
so as messed up as this sounds. after installing r2 it worked first time. Thanks for your help and advice. anyone else having this problem that did a dist-upgrade just do a fresh install.
