Giskismet

I'm attempting to use giskismet to convert my kismet-newcore logs into a kml. I'm able to successfully get them into the wireless.dbl file successfully. However, when I issue the second command in the process (giskismet -q "select * from wireless -o final.kml), the kml file contains nothing. Can anyone offer some insight into this problem?

Upon searching the interwebs, I have come across a Python script which accomplishes the task using a much simpler approach in my opinion. It is called netxml2kml.

It accomplishes the job quickly and without hassle. As an added bonus, it is also cross-platform!
