Bsod On Logoff

hi

I have a desktop pc running windows XP and it keeps on displaying BSOD whenever anyone logs off but it just stays there and the computer doesn't shut down.

the exact message on the screen is

STOP: C000021a {Fatal System Error}

The windows logon process system process Terminated unexpectadly

with a status of 0xC0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000)

the system has been shut down.

What can i do to resolve this?
