Do they Copy or scan or check my ID information? Why they need my ID if i just can give my name up? Because i forgot my ID at home, and am now in a different state, but need money! You providing a name just means that you know a money transfer translation is taking place under that name, if they don't do some level of verification to who you are then they are potentially liable for the loss if you aren't who you say you are.
