steve54242
Hello, I have been looking for a way to bypass the iphone passcode. I am looking for this for 2 reasons. 1) I want to know how safe iphones are 2) one of my not so smart mates forgot his passcode and there is still all data there that can not be replaced. Here is some infomation that i have looked at so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wS3AMbXRLs (Show one of the old ways that forensics got into the iphone) http://www.scribd.com/doc/15490874/iPhone-...y-OReilly-Media (iPhone Forensics by O'Reilly Media ) http://www.elcomsoft.com/eppb.html (Elcomsoft iPhone Password Breaker, this cracks the backup passwords not the passcode) http://www.oxygen-forensic.com/en/ (Paid software that say it does the job) http://www.machoe.com/110/forgot-your-ipho...-bypass-it.html And so on. If any one has any ideas or input on this please reply. So far the best way that might work is creating a ram disk that disables/removes the passcode but so far unable to find the tools and the steps to do this. Thanks

ParMan
why dont you just ssh into the phone to get the data off. or just copy all of it and figure out what you need then after you restore your phone replace the information.
