Problem: I need to get code off of a 12f683 micro chip that has been "locked"

So how can I "unlock" this chip? Any help or fingers pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

By the way I enjoy the show and wish you guys 300 more episodes+

Thanks.

I don't know that they want you to in the first place. Isn't it secured from the manufacturer?

The PDF mentions something about being protected against this sort of thing.

The above is true but whats the fun in that. NOTHING is secure as we all know. Now the level of difficulty to finally break through something like this may be higher than normal. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing and can give me some tips.
