Amsterman
Yesterday I installed the jasager_firmware_beta_1 on my fon 2201. It was no problem to get it working. I was playing around with Hamster & Ferret but also wanted to use cain & able on the laptop to sniff between my fon 2201 and the google G1 phone which I use for the internetconnection. When people connect to my fon2201 and get an Ip adress from the ICS which is in the range of 192.168.0.x I wanna sniff the traffic between their IP and my 192.168.0.1 . I wanted to use Cain and Able for this , but I can't get it to work correctly. Does anyone here know how I can get this working? I also want to know if it is possible to let ICS only uses the first 10 ipadresses in the 192.168.0.x range and If it is possible to use ICS on a subnet which has allready the 192.168.0.x range. operat0r_001
* if you are going to do MITM attacks use *nix * download backtrack 4 an toy with that arpspoof and ettercap ( examples here http://forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?p=94904 ) * there is also sslstrip http://delicious.com/operat0r/sslstrip * and evilgrade I agree cain is sort of wonkey with its interface but once you use it you understand how it works also ettercap has a windows binary that SORT of works .. http://hivelocity.dl.sourceforge.net/sourc...0.7.3-win32.exe
digininja
Can't help with getting cain and able working as I'm linux throughout but just thought I'd comment that you don't need to do any arp spoofing or anything like that because you are already in the middle, arp spoof is just a technique to get you in the middle.
