Bit Hunter
I have been using Dropbox fro a while. I like the idea to be able to sync files upon change, used it while collaborating on a project with one other Dropbox user. What i want is to have my own server with same functionality. The biggest reason i want my own server is, soon we will start with a project that could make our life, and we don't want anyone else to have access to it. By using Dropbox, we know someone else then us will have access to it, which feels a bit insecure. Anyone have any idea how to create such a app for both Windows and Linux (even if i use Linux, everyone else use Windows), or if there is an another server available i would be glad. stingwray
Sorry, FTP is working fine for me, I can also choose from FTPS or SFTP and occasionally SCP, with mounting those external locations as drives as the cherry.
