I think you're looking for an On/Off/On switch. FireTime Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 Most on/off switches aren't just that. They usually have 3 prongs; a ground , a Common Open, and a common Closed. So when the switch is in the up position it closes the circuit to the top prong and current may flow, the same goes when the switch is in the down position. .............Open^.....^ground..^Closed And as Sparda posted, this would be wired the same way as a normal house 3way or 4way light setup.
