Make sure that the system you're buying it for can boot from SDHC before buying.

Neinsager
Hell build in some 16G and a 8G SD card and readers internally in my EeePc 701 4G and installed Ubuntu-eee over the standaard 4G solidstate and the 16G SD card (the "./" on the 4G solidstate and the "/home" (noted installed no swap space) on the 16G SD card) this works just fine and gives me way more (harddisk) space. On the internally buid 8G SD card i got BT3 and that boots and runs all so just fine. If you want a fast running (installed OS) on your SD card just do not go for the cheap one's. Neinsager
are you using a swap file instead? Nope just no swap file or space on the solid state HD or on any of the SD cards. All the swapping is done on/with the 2Gig off mem. Gerard
