Manalishi Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I installed Cygwin with the OPEN SSH package as instructed in 2600 issue 22:3, article "Securing Your Wireless Network" The article states to run cygwin and type "net start sshd" in order to have the server start with Windows. But when I do this I get the error message: "The service name is invalid" How do I start the server? Quote

tonysathre Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 You need to run ssh-host-config to run the setup process and create the RSA and DSA keys. Here is a great tutorial. Quote
